On this episode of The Social Work Bubble Podcast, we are joined by Karina Montes De Oca to dive into her journey in social work including navigating her MSW, non-social work roles, coping with client loss, and managing social work while have a mental health diagnosis. 

Karina Montes De Oca is currently a Health Navigation Supervisor at an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in California. She is an part time MSW student at CSULB,  currently enrolled in my 3rd year, and will be graduating May 2024. Karina has been working in the Human Services profession for over 15 years, and has been working in community Mental Health for 8 years in various roles (employment specialist, job developer, Case manager, Health Navigator.) Once Karina graduates, she hopes to continue working in mental health.
